Cookie Policy

What We Use
ApexHierarchy sets exactly one cookie, and only for people signed in to our internal moderation tools: a strictly-necessary session cookie that keeps that login working. It isn't set for ordinary visitors browsing or searching the Site, carries no tracking or advertising data, and isn't shared with any third party.
What We Don't Use
We don't run advertising cookies or cross-site tracking of any kind. We do use Vercel Analytics for aggregate page-view counts — it sets no cookie, doesn't track you across other sites, and doesn't identify you individually (see our Privacy Policy for detail). Rate-limit protection is also handled without setting a cookie in your browser.
Controlling Cookies
Since the only cookie we set is required for our own team's moderation login, there's nothing to opt out of as a visitor. If you'd still like to block cookies generally, your browser's settings let you block or delete them at any time — doing so has no effect on browsing or searching ApexHierarchy as a visitor.
Why There's No Cookie Banner
Under GDPR/ePrivacy and similar cookie-consent rules, a consent banner is required for non-essential cookies (advertising, tracking, analytics that identifies you) — not for a strictly-necessary cookie like our internal moderation login, which is exempt. Since we don't set any non-essential cookie for ordinary visitors, there is nothing here that requires consent, so we haven't added a banner. If that ever changes — we add an analytics or advertising cookie that isn't strictly necessary — a consent banner will be added first, not after.
Changes
If what we use ever changes — for example, if we add a cookie-based or advertising tracker — we'll update this page first.
