Guo Guangchang is a Chinese investor and businessman who co-founded Fosun International Limited and serves as its chairman. Born in Dongyang, Zhejiang, in 1967, he earned a BA in Philosophy and an MBA from Fudan University before starting his business career in market research. Since 1994, he has built Fosun Group into one of China's largest non-state-owned conglomerates with investments spanning insurance, pharmaceuticals, property, steel, and asset management.
