Safra Catz is an Israeli-American executive who served as Chief Executive Officer of Oracle Corporation from 2014 to 2025 and currently serves as Executive Vice Chair of its board of directors. She joined Oracle in 1999 as Senior Vice President and spearheaded more than 130 corporate acquisitions, including the $10.5 billion acquisition of PeopleSoft in 2005 and the $28.3 billion acquisition of Cerner in 2022. Before her tenure at Oracle, Catz spent 14 years on Wall Street as an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette covering the software sector.
